The raw material ingredients can be selected based on one or more parameters. Should the product be gluten-free, vegan, rich in nutrients and dietary fibre, contribute with an intense taste, aroma and at the same time have a little technical character.
Freeze-dried fruit and vegetable powders are rich in nutrients and fibre. They are by nature very hygroscopic and therefore have a fantastic ability as a technical aid for absorbing liquid. They are tasty, have wonderful aroma and colour. They can be used as a partial substitution of other carriers, flours, or cereals.
The freeze-dried products are available as whole berries, cut fruit and vegetables, powder and in smaller pieces and can thus also add structure.
As an alternative to the more health and functional products, see our CRAFT® extracts from Iprona. These powders are standardized on polyphenols and anthocyanins. It is 100% water-soluble fruit powders, produced without the use of extractants.
Purees and pure concentrates or pulp concentrates, juice concentrates and infusions can also be used to some extent, however, the natural water content must be kept in mind.
Most of our liquid products can be offered in aseptically packaged solutions, which make them easy to store, handle and use in production, so you do not open more material than you need. Spray dried powder in 10 kg plastic buckets and freeze-dried products in 5-10 kg PE bags in cartons depending on product variant. Extracts and dried herbs in 10 to 25 kg units.
